La sintesi analogica ancora oggi affascina e seduce gli ascolti e l’immaginario.
Le sue simulazioni sono diventate oggi straordinariamente precise ma parallelamente lo sviluppo di nuovi strumenti, nuove “identità strumentali” autonome nella generazione sonora come nell’interfaccia torna nei laboratori dei liutai elettronici.

Il concerto si propone si sondare il territorio comune e le terre sconosciute nell’incontro di diversi paradigmi di creazione e controllo del suono sintetico.
Le Ondes Martenot sono uno dei più antichi e primordiali strumenti di sintesi ma sono forse l’emblema più straordinario (insieme forse al Theremin) della liuteria elettronica. Il suono sintetico è totalmente strumentale e creato dalle mani dello strumentista, la maestrìa che l’esecutore deve avere fa sì che esistano classi di Ondes Martenot nei Conservatoire francesi. I synth attuali propongono straordinarie possibilità di generazione e controllo ma alla fine sono utilizzati quasi esecutivamente tramite le migliaia di preset della casa produttrice, limitando la “ricerca sonora” in un rovistare nelle librerie preconfezionate.

Born in Paris, discovered her interest in music and, specifically, the onde Martenot at age 9 with Françoise Pellié. She acquired advanced training diplomas at the Paris Conservatoire and became dedicated to chamber music and the performing arts. She has premiered numerous compositions, worked in multimedia, with several choreographers and rock ensembles. Nadia has been Professor of Ondes & Synthesizers at the Regional Conservatoire of Boulogne-Billancourt since January 2015.

Maylin Pultar
How could Maylin tell in a few words about her path, her wanderings, the lessons she’s learnt, her joys and the awakenings of her whole life? She does it through her texts, her poems, her melodies.
Her mother, originally from Madagascar gave her the taste for poetry and reverie, her French-German father ingrained the longing for risk and drama. This cultural mix shaped her adventurous soul.
A model and actress in Europe then in New York, where she attends the renowned Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, life’s torments bring her all the way to Los Angeles. There, as she tries to find authenticity, she questions her whole life and puts her acting career on hold, in order to focus on her childhood dream: to be a singer.
With a classical music background acquired during childhood, and with an opera vocal training Maylin goes head on: She is reborn « singer/songwriter » as she puts her first band together with Omar Torrez (Tom Waits) on guitar, and David Leach (Ben Harper) on percussion.
She is currently embarking on a new journey with a new core band : Michael Ravassat on guitar and Ricardo Garatea on percussions, joined by a bass player and a drummer for a more « rock » sound .
